The House

A neighborhood salon, built to last.

Maison Claire opened on Tordesillas Street in 2012, on the ground floor of a residential building most people walk past. The room is small — eight chairs, two color stations, one wash area. We kept it that way on purpose. A bigger room means louder music, faster turnover, and stylists who can't remember which haircut you came in with last time.

We are a senior team. Our youngest stylist has six years on the floor. Our oldest has twenty-one. They are paid as colorists or cutters, not as hourly chair-fillers, and they stay — most of the team has been here since 2017. That continuity is the only luxury we sell.

We do hair. We also do nails, brows, and bridal because clients ask for them — but the chairs and the colorist station are still the center of the room. If you come in for a cut, you are not being upsold to a treatment package while we shampoo you. We aren't built that way.

Six rooms, one standard.

Prices below are starting rates with a Senior stylist. Master rates are about 30% higher; Junior rates about 30% lower. Full breakdown by tier in the Pricing section.

Cut & Style

A real consultation, an unhurried cut, and a finish that survives the commute home. We take photos of every cut so you can ask for "the same again" next visit.

Single-process, balayage, lived-in highlights, gloss, color correction. We use L'Oréal and Schwarzkopf, and we'll tell you honestly if what you want needs more than one session.

Classic and gel. Pedicures are 45 minutes by design — no hurried foot baths, no half-buffed corners. Our nail technician trained in Tokyo and runs the room.

Before You Book

Answers, plainly.

We ask for 24 hours' notice. Cancellations inside that window are charged 50% of the booked service; same-day no-shows are charged in full. We do not enforce this on first-time mishaps, weather emergencies, or sudden illness — we'd rather you not show up sick.
Rarely. We run on a tight booking schedule so that no one is rushed. If a stylist has an opening, we'll happily take you — call ahead. For quick services (brow shaping, blow-dry), walk-ins are easier to fit in.
Book a 30-minute color consult with one of our colorists (₱950, refunded against your service). We'll look at your hair, your photos, your maintenance tolerance, and we'll tell you honestly which technique suits you — and which one will save you the most money long-term.
Yes — please. Box dye, henna, prior bleach, and certain salon products can react unpredictably with what we use. Disclosing your hair history (even years back) lets us choose the right formula and avoid breakage. We will never judge what's in your hair, only what we can do with it from here.
Cash, GCash, Maya, and all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). For bridal packages we ask for a 50% deposit to hold the date — the balance is due on the day. We do not run promo codes or memberships.
Bring three to five. One photo gives us a destination but no margin; several photos let us read a pattern — what you actually like across them. Photos of your own hair on good days are even more useful than celebrities. Save them in a folder, show us the whole folder.
